Overview
Gujarat Tour for 4 Nights & 5 Days is a comprehensive and affordable tour package that covers the major attractions of Gujarat in a short span of time. The tour starts from Veraval, where you will be picked up from the railway station and dropped at your hotel in Somnath. You will visit the Somnath Temple, one of the twelve jyotirlingas of Shiva and a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus. You will also enjoy the light and sound show at the temple and witness the spectacular sunset at Somnath Beach.
The next day, you will proceed to Sasan Gir, the home of the Asiatic lions and a wildlife sanctuary. You will visit Bhalka Tirth, where Lord Krishna was fatally wounded by a hunter’s arrow, and Gita Mandir, a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and the Bhagavad Gita. You will also visit Kamaleshwar Dam, a scenic spot on the Hiran River, and Girnar Hill, a sacred mountain with temples of various faiths.
The third day, you will go for a jeep safari in Gir National Park, where you can spot lions, leopards, deer, antelopes, crocodiles and various birds. You will also visit Devalia Safari Park, a fenced area that offers a glimpse of the wildlife of Gir in a shorter time. You will visit Junagadh Fort, also known as Uparkot Fort, a 2nd century CE fort that has witnessed many battles and sieges. You will also explore the Buddhist Caves, the Adi Kadi Vav and Navghan Kuvo stepwells, the Jami Masjid mosque and the Khapra Kodia Caves inside the fort. You will also visit Mahabat Maqbara, a stunning mausoleum complex with intricate architecture and carvings.
The fifth day, you will check out from your hotel and proceed to Junagadh railway station as per train timings. The tour ends with good memories of Gujarat.
