The sanctuary is famous for its Giant Flying Squirrel, which is also the state animal of Maharashtra. You can also spot other animals like leopards, barking deer, wild boar, langurs, hyenas, jackals, etc. The sanctuary also has many waterfalls, streams, lakes and hills that offer scenic views and opportunities for photography
You will spend about 2 hours exploring the sanctuary and then have lunch at a nearby restaurant.
After lunch, you will drive back to Mumbai, which is about 220 km away. The journey will take about 5 hours by road.
