Reach Alandi by 10:00 AM and visit the Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Samadhi Temple, which is located on the banks of the Indrayani River. This is an ancient temple that marks the spot where Sant Dnyaneshwar entered into a voluntary trance and left his mortal body at the age of 21. The temple has a silver idol of Sant Dnyaneshwar and his samadhi (tomb) under a neem tree. The temple also has a museum that displays some relics and statues related to Sant Dnyaneshwar and his family.

After paying your respects to Sant Dnyaneshwar, drive to Tulapur, which is about 15 km away from Alandi. Tulapur is also known as Sangameshwar as it is situated at the confluence of three rivers – Bhima, Bhama and Indrayani.
