Temghar Dam is a historical site located in the city of Lavasa in Maharashtra, India. It is a dam that was built on the Mutha River in the 1990s as a part of the Varasgaon Dam project. The dam has a height of about 42 m and a length of about 1,075 m. Temghar dam creates a reservoir that has a capacity of about 3,000 million cubic feet and covers an area of about 1,160 hectares. Timing/Entry Fees Temghar Dam

The dam is open to visitors from 9 am to 5 pm every day. There is no entry fee for visiting the dam. However, there are charges for boating and parking activities. The boating charges are Rs. 100 per person for a paddle boat and Rs. 200 per person for a motor boat. The parking charges are Rs. 20 for two-wheelers and Rs. 50 for four-wheelers.

Lavasa is well connected by road to other major cities in Maharashtra. The nearest airport is Pune Airport, which is about 65 km from the dam. From there, one can take a taxi or a bus to the dam. The nearest railway station is Pune Railway Station, which is about 50 km from the dam. From there, one can take an auto-rickshaw or a cycle-rickshaw to the dam. Alternatively, one can also hire a car or a bike to explore the city and the dam.
