6:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel/home in Pune and drive to Pandharpur via Solapur road. The distance is about 210 km and the travel time is about 4 hours.
10:00 AM: Arrive at Pandharpur and visit the Chandrabhaga River, a sacred river that flows through the city. The river is also known as Bhima and is considered as a form of Ganga. You can take a dip in the river or perform rituals on its banks.
11:00 AM: Visit the Sant Pundalik Temple, a temple dedicated to Sant Pundalik, a devotee of Lord Vitthal who attained salvation by serving his parents. The temple is located on the bank of Chandrabhaga River and has a stone image of Sant Pundalik under a banyan tree.
11:30 AM: Visit the Sant Namdev Maharaj Step, a step where Sant Namdev Maharaj, a saint and poet who composed many devotional songs in praise of Lord Vitthal, used to sit and meditate. The step is located near the entrance of the Shri Vitthal Rukmini Temple.
12:00 PM: Visit the Shri Vitthal Rukmini Temple, the main attraction of Pandharpur. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vitthal and Rukmini, the incarnations of Lord Vishnu and Lakshmi. The temple is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in Maharashtra and attracts millions of devotees every year. The temple has a beautiful idol of Lord Vitthal standing on a brick with his hands on his hips and a smile on his face. The temple also has idols of Rukmini, Satyabhama, Radha, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Garuda, Hanuman, and other deities.
1:30 PM: Break for lunch at a nearby restaurant and enjoy the local delicacies of Pandharpur, such as puran poli, kheer, bhakri, zunka, etc.
2:30 PM: Visit the ISKCON Temple, a temple built by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 2014. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha and has a spacious hall for chanting and meditation. The temple also has a library, a museum, a guest house, and a restaurant.
3:30 PM: Visit the Gopalpura, a locality in Pandharpur where many saints and devotees of Lord Vitthal used to live. You can see the samadhis (tombs) of Sant Tukaram Maharaj, Sant Eknath Maharaj, Sant Chokhamela Maharaj, Sant Janabai Maharaj, Sant Savata Mali Maharaj, and other saints. You can also visit their houses and temples where they used to worship Lord Vitthal.
